Two still held over fatal Limerick shooting

Two men, aged 19 and 22, remain in Garda custody in Limerick in connection with the death of Roy Collins in the city on Thursday last.

Detectives were granted a further 72 hours to question the two before a special sitting of Limerick District Court on Saturday.

The men were arrested within an hour of the lunchtime killing at the Collins family's amusement arcade at the Roxboro Shopping Centre.

Meanwhile, investigating officers are urging anyone with information about a black Mercedes-Benz - registration 06 D 528070 - to contact them.
