Funeral for Garda McCallion in Co. Mayo

The young Garda who died after being knocked down by a stolen car in Co. Donegal last month will be laid to rest on Easter Monday.

Garda Robert McCallion, from Co. Mayo, was struck by the vehicle as he responded to a call at a housing estate in Letterkenny on March 26.

The 29-year-old was critically injured and passed away at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin on Tuesday.

He will be laid to rest at Kilconduff Cemetery, Swinford, Co. Mayo on Monday.
