Unions to meet over Dublin Bus cost-cutting plans
Unions at Dublin Bus are seeking further discussions on the company's cost cutting plans in a bid to avert potential strike action at the weekend.
SIPTU is due to meet today to discuss the on-going dispute while the NBRU is to hold a similar meeting tomorrow.
It comes after drivers at Dublin Bus rejected recommendations made by the Labour Court in relation to the company's cost cutting plans.
The company has indicated its intention to proceed with its plans to take 120 buses from its fleet on Sunday, a move that could prompt industrial action by drivers.
