Row erupts in Dáil ahead of Budget speech
A row has erupted in the Dáil before the Budget speech has even begun.
It cented around a procedural issue, where the media has been given a copy of the Budget speech, and it was implied that Dáil deputies were not allowed to distribute the speech as the Dáil’s doors had been locked.
Ceann Comhairle John O'Donoghue then threatened to suspend the House, then Finance Minister Brian Lenihan began his speech.
