Armagh device declared a hoax

A suspicious device which caused a security alert in the North today has been declared a hoax.

Police and army bomb experts were called out in Co Armagh earlier this morning, after the device was found near a railway line at Lake Street in Lurgan.

It is the latest in a series of fake security alerts in the North in recent days.
