Police in the North have released a teenager arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of two British soldiers in Co Antrim last month.

Police in the North have released a teenager arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of two British soldiers in Co Antrim last month.

The 19-year-old man was arrested in the Bellaghy area of Derry by detectives investigating the murders of 23-year-old Mark Quinsey and 21-year-old Patrick Azimkar.

He was also questioned about the attempted murder of five others in the attack outside the Massereene army barracks on March 6th.

The teenager was released on bail overnight pending the preparation of a report for the Public Prosecution Service.
