LRC talks between DAA and SIPTU adjourned until Friday
Talks at the Labour Relations Commission over pay increments due to workers at the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) have been adjourned until Friday.
The company is expected to make its position clear then as to whether the payments will be made or not.
The dispute, between the DAA and SIPTU over the increments, which are due to be implemented from tomorrow, threatened to close the country's three main airports with a strike on Thursday.
The action was called off to allow for today's talks at the LRC.
Dermot O'Loughlin from SIPTU's Civil Aviation Branch says progress has been made.
