Empire State goes green for St Patrick’s Day

Green will be seen in the sky-line of New York for the day.

Standing almost 1,500 feet above ground, the world-famous tower of the Empire State Building in midtown Manhattan will be lit green for St Patrick's Day.

It marks an important anniversary for the skyscraper as ground was broken at the time of its construction on March 17, 1930.
