At least three confirmed dead in Drogheda house fire

At least three people have been confirmed dead following a house fire in Drogheda, Co Louth, this morning.

The emergency services were alerted to the fire in the Moneymore housing estate just before 8am.

The dead are believed to include one adult and two children.

There are also fears that there could be more fatalities.

Fire brigade personnel are still at the scene.
