Three questioned in connection with gangland murder
Three men are still being questioned today by detectives probing the latest gangland murder in Dublin.
Shay O'Byrne, 27, was shot dead and his 26-year-old partner injured in the gun attack in Tymon North Park in Tallaght, south Dublin, on Friday night.
Three men were later arrested in connection with the shooting, which is believed to be linked to the bloody Crumlin/Drimnagh feud has claimed up to 13 lives.
The dead man was heavily involved in organised crime.
A gun was found near the scene by gardaí, who have appealed for information about two men and two vehicles seen in the area when the attack was launched.
They are a silver-coloured Nissan Primera with a partial registration number of 00D and a sky blue Volkswagen Passat, with a partial registration number of 06WW.
The shooting is the eighth gun murder in Dublin so far this year.
