Man killed in Offaly crash
Two men have been killed in separate road accidents in counties Offaly and Limerick.
The latest incident happened at Shannonbridge in Offaly at 10.30am this morning.
A 30-year-old man died after he lost control of the van he was driving and it crashed into a ditch.
The road remains sealed off for forensic examination.
At 8pm last night, a 55-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car near Kilteely village in Co Limerick.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Limerick Regional Hospital.
