Man killed in Limerick road accident

A pedestrian has been killed in a road accident in Co Limerick.

The man was hit by a vehicle in the village of Kilteely at around 8.30pm last night.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his remains were removed to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.

No one else was injured in the incident.
