Five still in custody in relation to attack on couples in Louth

Five people remain in Garda custody this morning in connection with an attack on two couples near Drogheda in Co Louth early yesterday morning.

The four victims were badly beaten by a gang of youths in the Townley Hall area and one of the women is understood to have been raped.
