A man is in a serious condition in hospital this morning after being stabbed in the back during an early-morning attack in Dublin city centre.

A man is in a serious condition in hospital this morning after being stabbed in the back during an early-morning attack in Dublin city centre.

The incident happened on James Street at around 2am, but further details were not immediately available.
