Baby girl among three killed in separate crashes

Two adults and a seven-month-old baby girl have died following three separate road crashes in Laois, Sligo and Roscommon.

A man in his 40s died after the car he was driving collided with a van on the Mountmellick Road in Killeigh, Co. Laois, just before 8am.
