Energy prices set to drop

There was good news for consumers this afternoon with the confirmation that energy prices are set to drop from the end of next month.

Electricity prices will be reduced by around 10% for all customers, with gas prices set to fall by an average of 12% for domestic and small business customers.

The reduction follows a review of energy prices by the Commission for Energy Regulation.
