Prize Bonds Company reports huge surge in demand

The Prize Bonds Company has reported a huge surge in demand as people look to place their savings in a safe place.

The firm says monthly investment figures shot up to three times their normal level last autumn, with €130m worth of prize bonds purchase in just eight weeks.
