Man killed in Clare bike crash

A motorcyclist was killed today in an accident in Co. Clare.

The 35-year-old man was killed when his motorbike hit a ditch at Ballaghafadda West near Clarecastle shortly before 1pm this afternoon.

He was taken to Ennis General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
