Gardaí continue questioning two men over Carroll murder

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question two men in connection with the murder of John Carroll.

Mr Carroll was gunned down in Grumpy Jacks pub in the Coombe area of Dublin last week.

This morning Gardaí investigating his death arrested two men in their 20s, who are now being held at Kilmainham and Kevin Street Garda Stations.

It's the latest in a series of arrests relating to the fatal shooting.

Seven people were detained last week during a series of raids, but all have since been released without charge.

Meanwhile last night, a 55-year-old man was arrested in the city centre, he's also been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
