Penniless Drumcondra nursing home to close

A nursing home for elderly blind men in Drumcondra in Dublin is to close due to poor standards and a lack of funding, it was confirmed this afternoon.

Clonturk House - which has been in operation since 1959 - provides care for visually impaired men.
