Moldovan man critical after west Dublin shooting
A man remains in a critical condition in hospital this morning following a shooting at a garda sports and social club in Dublin yesterday.
The Moldovan national was shot while sitting in a car outside the club in Westmanstown, near Lucan, at around lunchtime.
His three daughters - aged 10, eight and two - were with him at the time and witnessed the attack.
Unarmed and off-duty gardaí tackled the gunman and managed to arrest him.
He is also from Moldova and is being held at Lucan garda station.
