PSNI investigate hoax device in Antrim

Police in the North are investigating the discovery of a hoax device in Co Antrim.

It was found at a service station in Lurgan at approximately 4am this morning.

Explosives experts were called to the scene, nearby houses were evacuated and train services to Portadown were stopped.

The object turned out to be a hoax device and the area has been declared safe.
