Fine Gael urges Govt to reverse cap on PLC places

Fine Gael is calling on the Government to reconsider its decision to limit the numbers of places available in Post Leaving Certificate courses.

At the moment there are a fixed number of 30,000 PLC places on offer, but Fine Gael says many Vocational Education Committees have up to 3,000 extra students looking to enrol.
