Workers to stage mass protest in Dublin
Workers are gearing up for a mass demonstration in Dublin tomorrow.
It follows the collapse of talks between the Government, trade unions and employers’ groups on finding an agreed approach to tackling the current economic crisis.
It also comes on foot of the governments controversial pension levy for public sector workers.
The march from Parnell Square to Government Buildings has been organised by the Irish Congress of Trade Unions.
SIPTU's Padraig Yates has said the protest will send a clear message to Government.
