FLAC disappointed with new mortgage arrears code

The Financial Regulator's new code of conduct on mortgage arrears has been described as deeply disappointing by the organisation which represents Free Legal Advice Centres.

FLAC says the language in the code is vague and ambiguous and it fails to deal with a number of important matters, including what sanctions may be imposed for breaching the code.
