Belfast-based missile maker to recruit 40 engineers

Missile manufacturer Thales today launched a recruitment drive for 40 skilled engineers.

The increase in the workforce at the French-owned company in east Belfast follows the signing last month of a £200m (€223m) contract with the Ministry of Defence for the supply and maintenance of the super fast Starstreak missile system.
