Motorcyclist dies in Laois crash

A 38-year-old man has died following a collision between a car and a motorbike in Co Laois yesterday morning.

A 38-year-old man has died following a collision between a car and a motorbike in Co Laois yesterday morning.

The incident happened on the Stradbally to Carlow road just before 10am.

The dead man was travelling on the motorbike.

Meanwhile, a man is in a serious condition at Limerick Regional Hospital following a crash in Co Clare last night.

The accident happened shortly after 8pm near the Tulla Road outside Ennis.

The road remains closed between Hency's Cross and Moyriesk.
