Lenihan to seeker tougher crackdown on TDs’ expenses

Finance Minister Brian Lenihan is expected to reject recommendations from the Oireachtas Commission on the reform of the expenses regime for TDs and Senators.

The body that runs Leinster House has made proposals to Mr Lenihan for changes in the expenses regime following widespread public criticism of the current situation.
