Carnival of love set for Dublin

A "love carnival" is being held in Dublin today to highlight the inequality facing gay and lesbian couples in Ireland.

The event takes place in the city centre this afternoon and has been organised by Noise, an organisation promoting gay rights.

Around 300 people are expected to turn up to the carnival, wearing blindfolds to show that love is blind to gender and race.
