Recession has changed political mood says Gilmore

There has been a massive shift in the political mood of recession-hit voters, the Labour leader claimed today.

Eamon Gilmore said the electorate now favoured policies based on equality, fairness and social solidarity after his party outstripped Fianna Fáil in popularity ratings.
