Union calls for partnership talks to return

The Defence Forces union, PDFORRA, has said it wants to see the social partnership process resurrected.

The union maintains that this is the only way the interests of low and middle-income earners will be protected in the current financial crisis.

It has lashed out at the Government's public servants' pension levy as being unfair.

It also said its members are very angry with the unilateral manner in which it was imposed.
