Party defends Cowen as support reaches record low

Fianna Fáil launched a staunch defence of Taoiseach Brian Cowen today after a poll showed support for the party had collapsed to a historic low.

The senior coalition Government partners are the third most popular political party in the country as voters turn to Labour.
