Labour seeks High Court probe into Anglo Irish Bank

The Labour Party is calling for the appointment of a High Court inspector to investigate the activities of Anglo Irish Bank.

The call follows last night's revelation that Irish Life & Permanent placed a multi-billion euro deposit with its rival lender just hours before the end of Anglo's financial year last September.
