Suicide bereavement group in plea over 24-hour helpline

Lives could be lost if a helpline run by a suicide bereavement group isn’t extended to a 24-hour basis, it was claimed today.

Console, which was founded in 2006, said it was losing critical calls from needy people who ring after office hours.
