IMPACT warns of wave of anger over pension levy

Ireland's largest public sector union is warning the Government to brace itself for a wave of anger over its pension-levy plans.

On Tuesday, Taoiseach Brian Cowen announced plans to impose special levies ranging from 3% to almost 10% on all public servants as part of new cuts in public spending.
