Thousands turn out to support Waterford workers

Thousands of people turned out again this afternoon in support of the workers at Waterford Crystal.

The rally was the second since staff began their sit-in at the Kilbarry plant on Friday.

The march started from Brownes Road in Wateford, and made its way to the visitor centre at Kilbarry, where the crowds were addressed by the local mayor Jack Walsh.

The occupation of the visitor centre also went on thoughout today, as staff continue their wait for news of a buyer for the company.
