Children leaving State care at risk of homelessness

Children who leave the care of the State are at risk of homelessness because of a lack of aftercare services, according to one of the country's leading homeless charities.

Focus Ireland says young people leaving State care should have a statutory right to aftercare to help them make a better adjustment to independent living.
