Public won't see Haughey papers until 2022

Charles Haughey’s family hope his private papers handed over to a university today will restore his standing as political giant – but the public will have to wait until 2022 to see them.

The hundreds of boxes of letters, notes and hand-written thoughts were hailed by Dublin City University (DCU) as the most historically significant personal archive ever donated to an Irish college.
