Search for missing woman continues in Co Cork

A major search operation is continuing in Co Cork this morning for missing woman Anne Corcoran.

The 60-year-old widow hasn't been heard from since telephoning a friend on January 19.

Gardaí say they are treating her disappearance as suspicious and fear she may have been harmed.

Dozens of volunteers are helping in the search around the Bandon and Kilbrittain areas.

Specialist forensic experts have also been called in to examine Ms Corcoran's car, which was found abandoned in Old Chapel last Wednesday.
