Severe weather conditions continue to cause disruption

Severe weather has been causing widespread travel disruption across the country today, leading to cancelled flights and dangerous driving conditions.

Parts of Leinster and east Munster have been worst affected, but Met Éireann has forecast prolonged heavy snow showers throughout the country tonight.
