Gardaí: 'Someone has information about missing woman'

Gardaí say they believe someone is harbouring valuable information about the disappearance of Co Cork woman Anne Corcoran.

Volunteers, Gardaí and members of the Civil Defence are continuing to comb the countryside around Kilbrittain and Bandon today as part of a major search for the 60-year-old.

She was last seen on January 18 and spoke to a friend by mobile phone the following morning.

Her car was found abandoned near Old Chapel last Wednesday.

Gardaí investigating the disappearance say somebody has valuable information about the case and should come forward to the authorities.
