Quinn's Anglo investment may face further probe

The financial regulator may carry out further investigations into billionaire Sean Quinn’s stake in troubled Anglo Irish Bank, Taoiseach Brian Cowen said today.

Mr Quinn and his family bought 15% of the bank’s shares in July – just days before the credit crunch reduced its market value.
