Man injured in Limerick stabbing
An area of Nicholas Street in Limerick city remained sealed off this evening following a stabbing this afternoon.
One man was taken to St John's Hospital following the incident near St Mary's Cathedral shortly after 4pm.
The victim sustained a stab wound to the neck, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made, and a Garda spokesperson said enquiries are at an early stage.
