FG says people want decisions, not patriotism appeals

Fine Gael's finance spokesperson says there is no need for the Taoiseach to make a state-of-the-nation address on the current economic crisis.

The idea is believed to have been suggested at a meeting of the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party last night.
