Woman held in connection with murder of Cork man
Gardaí have arrested a woman this morning as part of their investigation into the murder of a 25-year-old Cork man last November.
John McManus, a native of Fermoy, disappeared from his flat in Cork city last October.
His body was found dumped in a field in Ballyduff, Co Kerry, on November 6.
A woman in her 30s was arrested in connection with the death this morning and is being questioned at Gurraunabraher Garda Station.
Later, a man in his early forties was also arrested over the murder.
The suspect was arrested on the northside of Cork city and was being questioned under section four of The Criminal Justice Act at Mayfield Garda Station.
He can be held for up to 24 hours.
