Two people have been injured in a car crash in Clare today.

The two-car crash happened at Captain Mac's Cross in Ennis town centre, on the main Limerick Road, at around 12.30pm.

The scene of the crash has now been clear, however the traffic lights are out of order and this is causing traffic disruption.

Gardaí in Ennis are advising motorists to exercise extreme caution when approaching the cross.
