Two still held over Dublin and Meath drug seizures
Two men remain in Garda custody this morning in connection with two separate drug seizures in Dublin and Meath.
A 45-year-old man was arrested after 1kg of heroin was recovered during a planned search of a premises in Cloverhill in Dublin yesterday evening.
The drugs have a street value of around €200,000.
The man is being detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
Meanwhile, in Co. Meath a 52-year-old man is being questioned following the discovery of 3kg of cocaine. The drugs were found when gardaà stopped and searched a car in Bellewstown yesterday evening.
A follow-up search at a premises on the Oxmantown road in Dublin uncovered 10kg of cannabis.
The total value of the drugs is around €300,000.
The man is being held at Store Street Garda Station in Dublin.
