Catholic bishops to hold crisis meeting

Catholic bishops are to hold a crisis meeting tomorrow to discuss the fall-out from the Bishop of Cloyne's handling of clerical child sexual abuse allegations in his diocese.

The Irish Catholic newspaper said the meeting has been called as bishops try to find a coordinated response to the current crisis of confidence in Church child protection policies.
