Monaghan army barracks to close

The first in a series of five army barracks closures begins in earnest today when troops march out of Monaghan for the last time.

Posts in Lifford, Letterkenny and Longford are due to close next week but a date has yet to be set for the closure of St Bricin's Military Hospital in Dublin.
