Cabinet meets to discuss public sector pay

The Cabinet meets again this morning to look at areas where the public pay bill can be reduced.

Details of the proposed cuts are not expected to be announced for some weeks.

The position of the Green party in Government could also come under further scrutiny as Dublin Councillor Bronwen Maher will outline her intentions within the party later this morning.
